Yesterday we launched Ask which gives SendView users the ability to query the rich data in your account by typing up a question and hitting enter.
The feature we're launching today started with another question, but one we were asking ourselves:
What would be the simplest, most insightful way to summarize a brand's email marketing tactics?
We explored charts and dashboards, reports and overviews, but in the end the same simple idea came up: 1 sentence of text plus a few key takeaways. It would be short enough to read quickly, but detailed enough to not leave you wanting.
Today, that's exactly what we're launching. We call them Weekly Summaries.
Indroducing, Weekly Summaries
Weekly Summaries compare each of your competitor's email activity last week to the previous three weeks to look for changes, new tactics, or patterns. They then distill down this information into a single sentence overview and three key Takeaways.
For example, here's an example for one of our favorite ESPs that we subscribe to, Aweber:
Consistent noon ET cadence and AI-tutorial branding, shifting toward faster โsignup formโ creation and โliveโ product moments versus earlier broader AI-show recaps.
๐ More โlive at noonโ and webinar-style CTAs
๐งฉ Focus narrows to AI signup form builder
๐จ Visual/design angles via Canva-to-AWeber workflow
Here's another for a main competitor to a spa company.
Competitor messaging shifted slightly toward lifestyle wellness themes, punctuated by a seasonal promo; cadence appears reduced, with fewer emails sent in this comparison window.
๐๏ธ Slightly lower send frequency versus earlier weeks
๐ก Content leans more lifestyle/wellness benefit framing
๐ One seasonal sale push used as a hook
Here's another for Hotels.com.
Recent emails intensified promotional urgency and broadened deal framing; compared with earlier sends, messaging stayed consistently deal-led while timing clustered closer together.
๐ฅ More aggressive โsale/live/last callโ urgency
๐งญ Broader value messaging beyond % discounts
๐ Tighter sending cadence, multiple offers within weeks
Available Now for All Users
These summaries are available in the existing Alerts tray which also shows up on the new dashboard.

Even better, they're included for all users on all plans starting today.
These are also related to one more feature we'll be talking about tomorrow. You won't want to miss this one. It's simple, but has been a game-changer for us as we use it for our own competitor tracking.
Stay tuned...
