Unsurprisingly, the Vice President used his very first cable hit promoting his book to clean up after his boss's mess of the week… Which feels like a poetic foreshadowing of what a 2028 run would look like for this professional coattail-rider.
We could go on poking fun — and we're sure there's nothing Vance would like more than for Democrats and political pundits to bicker over the details and prolong his press coverage — but honestly? It's not worth the time.
While the Vice President is soft-launching his 2028 presidential run and playing interpreter for Donald Trump with the press, the DNC is laser-focused on electing Democrats who will actually fight for the American people when they're in office.
