As I travel across the country, one of the first things I hear from community leaders is thank you -- for restoring relationships, for keeping our commitment to our word and principles, for building an America that works for everyone.

We've come a long way, Don, but our work is far from over. Whether or not we're able to build on the progress we've made depends on our ability to defend our Democratic majorities. The majority of Americans are with Democrats on some of the most fundamental issues. From voting down a Republican-led ballot measure that would've amended the state constitution to lay the groundwork to ban abortion outright in Kansas to Democrats winning hotly contested elections in New York and Alaska, voters are showing that they reject Republicans' extreme and unpopular anti-choice agenda.

People are with us, Don. Now, we have to do our part to remind people of what's on the ballot.
