I've always believed that one small voice coming together with millions of others is how we change the world. That's what got me into politics, and that's what kept me going through the darkest hours of the previous administration -- and there were many!

Last election cycle, our stellar Democratic National Committee team worked with millions of Americans to hold the House, flip the Senate, and win the White House. As we look to the midterm elections next year, we need to double down on the fight not just to protect but to expand our Democratic majorities in Congress, and elect Democrats at every level in counties, states, towns, and cities.

I'm reaching out to you today, because you are such an important part of that effort.

The DNC is the only organization tasked with electing Democrats up and down the ballot -- and it's absolutely crucial that they meet their end-of-month fundraising goal.

I've lived in Idaho for over four decades -- a traditionally Republican-controlled state that some people often count out for Democrats. But my neighbors care as much about education and health care as you and I do. And we ALL want the best opportunities for our children and grandchildren.

The folks at the DNC know that what unites us is stronger than what divides us.

That's why they've committed to investing in all 50 states, the territories, and D.C. They know that Democrats can win everywhere if we put in the time and energy to overcome Republicans who stoke fear, grievance, and division.

Our grassroots movement gave so much time and money to win the fight in 2020. After the inauguration, we exhaled. But the fight continues, and with gubernatorial elections this year and the midterm elections in 2022, the stakes are higher than ever.

We cannot allow Congress to slip into the hands of Mitch McConnell or Kevin McCarthy.

Republicans have already raised millions of dollars in preparation for upcoming elections. Democrats need to raise money right now, today, to be competitive. The good news is, there are millions of us, and our small donations add up!
