I’m reaching out today to let you know about an exciting event. Tomorrow, at 4 PM EST, Joe Biden and I will be hosting his campaign’s first virtual grassroots fundraiser.

Grassroots fundraisers are really important to me. They are based on the idea that the experience of a political fundraiser, often regarded as high-dollar closed-door events in the past, should be equally available to folks chipping in $5, $25 at a time.

Now, these fundraisers look a little different than they did last year or earlier this year since it’s all virtual and online now. But the idea is the same. You chip in whatever you can afford to pay -- seriously, any amount -- and we’ll invite you to a special event with Joe Biden and myself.

I’ll be asking Joe a few questions I have for him, and also asking him some questions submitted by supporters like you, which you can send my way once you RSVP.

This interview format will be a great way to hear what’s on your mind and share ideas from both Joe and myself -- it should be a whole lot of fun. The Vice President and I have always enjoyed chances to spend some time together -- even during the heat of the primary campaign -- and I’m looking forward to talking about issues we both care so deeply about.
