The billionaire class is starting to get very, very nervous.
Our campaign is doing very well right now. We are up in the polls, we have more volunteers and more donations than anyone else — including Donald Trump — and we are building a campaign that can win this nomination, win this election, and transform our country.
Why are we doing so well? I will tell you why: it is because we are speaking to the desires of the working class: we are fighting for Medicare for All, for a Green New Deal, and for a country that finally works for all of its people, not just those at the top.
So it should not come as a great surprise that those who do not want us to win will do everything they can in the coming weeks to stop our movement. We cannot let that happen.
Tonight's debate will be closely watched, and so I am writing to ask you to do something for us before I go on stage. Our campaign can show we have the momentum if our supporters make an unprecedented number of contributions today. So that is what I am asking you to do.
People have consistently underestimated us. Today is our chance to prove them wrong again. Thank you for contributing, for volunteering, and for all you do for our political revolution.
