I know exactly what it means to go without health care, attend an underfunded school, and live in a place that feels forgotten by those in power. And, I too know the pain that millions across our country are feeling right now as the result of the ongoing economic and health crises.
I also know that Democratic leaders remain staunchly focused on fighting for those folks. President Biden's American Rescue Plan and the extension of the ACA special enrollment period are key efforts to provide direct relief for those who so desperately need it right now. I hope you feel like a part of that work.
To build our country back better than before, we cannot simply address the crises at hand -- we've got to do so much more. Just as President Biden and Vice President Harris have made it their job to treat every American with dignity and respect, it is our job to elect more Democrats who will do the same. And that starts with Sunday's end-of-month deadline.
The Democratic National Committee is the only party organization tasked with electing Democrats up, down, and across the ballot in all 50 states and territories. We're already developing our long-term strategy for expanding our Democratic majorities in 2021 and beyond, but we can only take those strategies so far on our own. Without your support, we risk falling short of our goal -- stopping our momentum dead in its tracks.
Be one of the 21 supporters from your city we need to donate $7 to the DNC before Sunday's critical deadline. Whatever you're able to give will go a long way in helping elect Democrats who will fight for what is right in the months and years ahead.
I was born to a single teenage mother in Orangeburg, South Carolina and raised by my grandparents. They taught me the importance of faith, family, and service -- core tenants of why I do this work today.
The future of the Democratic Party is folks like me -- like us -- scattered throughout our beautiful country, and we've got to do everything in our power to first identify these candidates and then ensure they have the resources necessary to win. That work has already begun, but we can do so much more with you joining this fight.
I'll ask one more time: Will you be one of the 21 supporters from your area to make a $7 donation ahead of the DNC's deadline this Sunday? Whatever you're able to give will go a long way in electing Democrats who will do the most good for the most people in the years ahead.
Thanks for your continued support,
Democratic National Committee
P.S. The DNC is approaching one of our most critical fundraising deadlines this Sunday, and any amount you can give will be immediately put to use protecting and expanding our slim Democratic majorities. If you're able, please make a $7 donation to the DNC before Sunday at midnight.
