11 years ago today, on the night of September 19, 2010, I was out on the Afghan battlefield when a Taliban IED detonated. I lost both of my legs and a finger in the explosion.
I understand the sacrifices made by countless Americans and Afghans over the past 20 years of service in Afghanistan, and I have felt the same frustration over the past few weeks, watching Joe Biden and his administration’s failures diminish those sacrifices.
That is why, today on the 11-year anniversary of my injury, I am reaching out to ask YOU to join the GOP and I as we work to hold Biden accountable for making America LESS SAFE. Do you stand with us or with FAILED PRESIDENT Joe Biden?
Biden can try and sweep this under the rug, refuse to claim responsibility, and attempt to blame the Afghan people, military leaders, or even President Trump -- but, the fact remains that with the Taliban now in control of Afghanistan, the United States is less safe because of JOE BIDEN.
