Our big job over the next two years is making sure we cannot just defend our Democratic majorities, but expand them. If we fall short of that, we run the risk of losing control over appointments to the Supreme Court, our ability to get the Biden-Harris agenda through Congress, and so much more. We started the Democratic Fight Fund to support state party innovation, organizing on the ground in red and blue states, protecting the right to vote, critical data and technology, and more. But if we don't hit our monthly goals and fully fund these programs -- our intentions for what we should be doing on the ground won't matter.

Some folks might see our recent million-dollar investments in state parties and the grassroots as a sign that we can take our foot off the gas. But that's simply not the case. It's going to take more than those initial investments to hold onto power next year, and that's why we can't afford to fall short of our May fundraising goal.
