Team,
Early voting is officially underway in many states across the country. As one of our top grassroots supporters, we want to keep you in the loop on the DNC's strategy for the final 13 days before Election Day.
Please take a minute to read this memo — we made this specifically for our most engaged supporters.
2026 Early Voting Update for previews@email.com
As of this morning, voters are casting their ballots in 37 states. That means time is running out to turn out voters in key battlegrounds and help them make a plan to vote.
Currently, early voting in Georgia is pacing ahead of early voting numbers during the 2022 midterm elections, and polling favors Democrats maintaining their hold on this critical Senate seat.
In North Carolina, Democrats need to flip the open Senate seat to help take the majority this year and are currently pacing ahead of their early ballots returned at this point in 2022. Democrats have consistently led Republicans in polling this year, but turnout will be key.
Democrats are also working to flip a Senate seat in Iowa this year. Currently, early ballots returned are outpacing this point in 2022, and polling predicts an incredibly tight race. Traditionally, most Iowans return their ballots on Election Day, so there's still a chance to reach as many voters as possible across the state, help them make their voices heard, and flip this seat.
Michigan is currently pacing close to its early vote numbers from 2022, but there's still time to change that if we act now. This is a must-win state for Democrats if we want to flip the Senate this year, and polling currently shows that the race is neck and neck.
Maine's Senate seat is another must-flip seat for Democrats this year. Currently leading ahead of early vote numbers from 2022, this will also be an incredibly tight race.
In Ohio, Democrats are also working to flip the Senate seat to win a majority, and the race is rated as another toss-up. Most Ohioans vote on Election Day, so it's critical that we ensure every Ohio Democrat is ready to cast their ballot come November 3.
With just 13 days until Election Day, the DNC is strategically moving resources to the states and districts across the country that need the most support in these final weeks.
We're deploying organizers and volunteers to key districts to knock doors, we're sending poll observers to polling locations to ensure the election is free, fair, and the results are trustworthy, and we're making calls every day into states across the country to reach voters we might not otherwise.
We hope you found this memo helpful. Keeping our top grassroots supporters fully informed and up-to-date on our strategic priorities is a top priority for our team.
We hope you'll consider chipping in today to fund our on-the-ground organizing efforts in the final days before Election Day and help lay the groundwork to win this year and beyond. The DNC is best positioned to distribute resources where and when they're needed most, and every dollar we receive goes directly to the front lines to elect Democrats up and down the ballot nationwide.
