Hi, it’s Jen -- Joe Biden’s campaign manager.
I want to personally thank you for being an active member of our grassroots team. This campaign is powered by people like you, who are taking the time to sign petitions, participate in focus groups, make calls, attend online events, and more. Thanks to you, we’re doing what many thought would be impossible just a few months ago.
Another way that you can make an impact is by donating to the campaign -- even a small amount, like $5.
Here’s why that matters, and why you see so many emails from our team asking for money.
Grassroots donors make up 97% of the contributions to this campaign. That means that our ability to run the best race possible between now and Election Day -- and our ability to protect our democracy from what Donald Trump and the Republicans could do to it if they win -- depends on everyday people like you, chipping in whatever you can afford to help keep us going.
All of the small contributions from our grassroots donors add up to pay for the advertising, the organizing, and the Get Out the Vote operations that are going to help us win this thing.
And I have to be blunt about this: we simply will not be able to run the best campaign possible -- the campaign we need to run -- without financial support from grassroots donors like you.
So if you’re able, I urge you to please take the next step in your support for this campaign by donating $5, or whatever you can afford today.
To make it easy, I’ve included your official campaign supporter record and some donation links below.

All that said, if you can’t afford to donate right now, that’s OK. Grassroots donations are very important to our campaign, but there are many other ways to get involved -- from all of the things you’ve already been doing, to actions as simple as talking to your friends and family and getting them excited to vote for Joe.
Thanks again for your support, from everyone here at Team Joe. We really appreciate you.
Sincerely,
Jen O’Malley Dillon
