Our campaign has sent a lot of fundraising emails ahead of this FEC fundraising deadline, so we thought you deserved an explanation of why these messages are so important to Joe Biden's reelection.

First, when this FEC deadline ends we're legally required to report how much money we've raised and how many donations we received will be public as well.

Everyone will be watching: the press, our opponents, outside spending groups. The numbers will be analyzed and generate a lot of media attention critical to our momentum.

Next, the goals we set are very real. They are not arbitrary numbers. They are what we need to reach in order to beat Trump and win.

Finally, there is no single greater source of donations to our campaign than emails like this one. So when you see our ads on TV, when you see our offices opening around the country, when you see us WIN in November, it's emails like this that fund that work.
