We're teaming up to give a few of you over $1200 worth of gear.

It's the most frigid month of the year in the northern hemisphere. Time to get outside and enjoy it, and to warm your spirits, we're teaming up with Askov Finlayson for a winter photo contest and gear giveaway.

Few brands embrace the cold like Askov Finlayson, a Minnesota-based brand who makes the most brilliantly warm (and sleek) parka we've ever slipped our shivering arms into. Their mission: keep the North cold. Their company: a certified B-Corp (just like us) who runs a climate positive business model where they calculate and offset their Social Cost of Carbon, investing about 5x as much into clean energy solutions as a standard carbon neutral company.

It only took a few hot toddies and a rousing game of Euchre for our Minnesota-born founder and CEO Peter to become fast friends with the Askov Finlayson team (as you can see by his top-notch modeling work below). Now we're teaming up to celebrate what it means to chill, literally.

Entering is simple: between now and Sunday 1.22.23 at 11:59 PM PST, post a photo on Instagram that celebrates winter in the outdoors. Tag and follow @peakdesign and @askovfinlayson, and use the hashtag #keepthenorthcold.

Our in-house creative teams will choose 3 winners who will each receive the following gear (valued at over $1200):

  1. The Winter Parka by Aksov Finlayson ($495)

  2. Peak Design Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod ($649.95)

  3. Peak Design Capture Clip ($69.95)

Photos will be judged on composition, creativity, and technical skills. You can enter as many photos as you'd like. Contest is open to photographers worldwide.

If you're a winner, we'll hit you up via DM. And regardless, keep an eye on our story the evening of the 23rd to see the winning entries.

Now get out there, snag some pics, and Keep The North Cold.
