This week, Texas Republicans pushed forward a bill that would make it more difficult to vote by mail and ban drive-thru voting.
My Democratic colleagues and I left the state to break quorum and prevent the GOP from passing this dangerous bill that would trample Texans' right to vote. But defending our democracy shouldn't have to come to this.
