Rick Gembar took helm of the Gibson Custom Shop in 1993, running the Custom Shop division of Gibson up until 2017 and lead it through pioneering years of Artist signature recreations with the likes of Slash, Eric Clapton and Gary Rossington as well as the rise in popularity of Historic Reissue and Collectors Choice runs of 1957-1960 Les Pauls.
