My brother and dear friend Jaime Harrison launched the Biden-Harris Founding Donor Fund just a few days ago. So far, 2,359 folks have chipped in to become founding donors. As we come up on our first end-of-quarter deadline tonight at midnight, I wanted to let you know why it's important you do the same.

To put it plainly: Our Democratic majority matters. Every single Republican voted against the American Rescue Plan. But, because of grassroots donors who helped capture the White House and flip the Senate, Democrats had the votes to pass it and get checks directly to working-class Americans, vaccines in arms, and so much more.

Our majority is not guaranteed. Republicans are already clambering to grab back power -- if proposing 250+ heinous voter suppression bills is any indication, they're using every tool in the box to halt the Biden-Harris administration's progress.
