I emailed you once already about our May fundraising deadline. But I am sorry to say that I just checked ActBlue, and we're still at risk of coming up short of our goal.

I wouldn't keep bothering you about our deadline if the stakes were not this high. As the sole organization tasked with winning races from the school board to the Senate, the DNC cannot afford to fall behind.

Coming up short of our fundraising goals this early in the election cycle could be hugely detrimental down the road. Now is the time to be making crucial, early investments in the voter protection, organizing, tech, and data infrastructure Democratic candidates need to expand our map in 2022.

So, can you please be one of the 5 more donors from your area we need to rush $7 to the Democratic Fight Fund before this month's deadline? Every penny will be immediately put to work defending the right to vote, investing in state parties and organizing, and so much more that will be critical to protecting our majorities next year.

There is simply too much at stake to fall behind at this point in the cycle. If we do, we could risk losing our majority in the Senate -- even one fewer seat means losing the power to nominate justices to the Supreme Court. We may have to cut investments in states where Republicans are already on the defensive passing outrageous bills to suppress votes and voices. And these are just two examples of the consequences our party might face if we do not hit this goal.

So, please, if you're able, be one of the 5 more donors needed from your area to rush $7 to the Democratic Fight Fund before May's end-of-month deadline.
