I've been working in politics since I was in college for one simple reason: I want to make our country a better place. That's why I dropped out of college to work on President Obama's campaign in 2008, why I worked in the administration after Democrats won back the White House, and why I came to work at the DNC in the first place.

I grew up in Wisconsin as the son of educators, and I learned early on about the importance of caring for others in your community. I remember sitting around the kitchen table, listening to my mother's stories about her students and their struggles. All I wanted to do was help.
