2026 Strategy Memo:
The midterms are right around the corner, and the DNC is working around the clock to elect Democrats nationwide and flip the House and the Senate.
We know Trump will continue his reign of chaos and attacks against our democracy until the American people step up to stop him.
Flipping Congress is the best way to put a stop to these attacks and make real progress.

Democrats need to flip three seats to take back the House. House Republicans have proven that they're unwilling to stand up for their constituents and speak out against Trump — electing a Democratic majority will put a major check on Trump's power.
Democrats need to flip four seats to take back the Senate, which means we need to win in states like Ohio, North Carolina, Texas, Iowa, and Alaska. At the same time, we need to defend our seats in Georgia, Michigan, and New Hampshire.
Democrats also need to elect down-ballot candidates across the country who will fight to protect their cities, districts, and states every day.
Our work to accomplish these goals is well underway.
The DNC is registering new Democratic voters in key battleground states, recruiting and training the next generation of organizers, and strengthening our state parties.
It's our mission to ensure that Democrats not only have the infrastructure we need to win this year, but to win back the White House in 2028.
