The DNC is coming up on its final deadline of the year this Friday -- I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why this deadline is so important and then, if you can, chip in a few bucks to the DNC to support their efforts nationwide.
Back when I was DNC Chair, we had just emerged from a historic election cycle for Democrats -- electing President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden! -- but that did not mean that victory was guaranteed in the midterm elections that followed.
Victories are only possible when you invest early and from the ground up. That's why we must come together to hit the DNC's critical goal before their deadline on Friday.
The DNC is already investing in state parties, organizing staff, voter protection efforts, and more all across the nation -- even in traditionally red states. But those programs won't reach their full potential without the support of this team.
With five days until the DNC's final deadline of the year and the start of 2022, I have to ask: Will you be one of 16 more people from Eden to pitch in $7 to the DNC?
Grassroots Democrats worked tirelessly last year, expending time and money month after month to mobilize support in every ZIP code across the country -- and it paid off big time. We have to do the same next year if we want to maintain and build on our majorities.
Winning in all 50 states, territories, and D.C. is no easy task. It requires making bold, early investments in communities like Eden that will build momentum for Democrats up and down the ballot. That's why I'm reaching out:
