Well, not much has changed since then. As President Biden and his administration are focused on building back better and beating this virus, Mitch said this:

And it's not just Mitch. Right after a bipartisan meeting about our nation's recovery with President Biden, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy sent this text to his supporters:

We've seen this song and dance before. While Republicans failed to make President Obama a one-term president, they did win a House majority and gain enough seats in the Senate to block progress. And we cannot let that happen with the current administration.
