Today the Republican field for President just got smaller. I thank Mark Sanford for being in the race and for his ideas for a better country. But now is the time to put our shoulder to the wheel and push onward toward the Republican nomination for President. I got in this race because I know we can be better as a country. I know it takes real courage to run against a sitting President but if these were normal times, none of us would be running. Serious times call for serious candidates and I am serious about winning! We can’t shrink from our duty, we can’t run when it gets too hard, we have to stay in the ring and fight against a President who wants to upend the Constitution because of his narcissism. We need to stay in the fight for our children, our seniors, and for those who may not be able to speak for themselves. And we need to stay in the fight so that our country doesn’t become a shell of itself. I am in New Hampshire this week to file my paperwork to participate in the New Hampshire primary — and my campaign promises to uphold the New Hampshire state motto: Live Free or Die!
