Republicans are in a mad dash to take back power in the midterms. They're already gearing up for 2022, and Trump is back on the campaign trail to rally their base.

Trump was unfit to lead, and as a result, he was the first president to lose out on a second term in nearly 30 years. Still, the GOP has made him a core pillar of their desperate attempt to win back a majority. Here's the GOP chairwoman on why:
