As you know, I’ve participated in a couple of these Vice Presidential debates myself.

In 2008, I squared off against Governor Sarah Palin, and then in 2012, against Congressman Paul Ryan.

In fact, it was in that 2012 debate when I popularized the phrase, “that’s a bunch of malarkey.”

Now, a lot has changed since those debates took place, but one thing remains the same: the American people want to see a running mate who they can trust to get the job done as Vice President in Washington.

I know that Senator Harris has what it takes to take on hard fights and deliver real results for working families all across this nation. I know that for a fact.

But, what I’m not sure of is whether we’re going to meet our 300,000 donation goal before the debate begins, and it’s critically important that we do. So I’m asking you to step up, dig deep, and make sure Kamala knows you’ve got her back as she takes on Vice President Pence.
